During the second day of the 7th session of the Union Parliament, discussions were held regarding the upcoming election planned by the military junta. It was emphasized that this election would be a sham and would not resolve the current political crisis. On behalf of the National Unity Government, Deputy Minister of Labour U Kyaw Ni reiterated that the government remains committed to establishing a federal democratic union in accordance with the aspirations of the people. He highlighted ongoing efforts in collaboration with revolutionary forces to achieve this goal. Furthermore, the discussion underscored the importance of clearly informing both regional and international stakeholders about the current political situation. The National Unity Government was urged to engage in diplomatic approaches to address various ongoing challenges and seek viable solutions.
