(a) Facilitating the resolution of disputes between employers and employees, and to promote alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration.

(b)  Promoting collective bargaining between employers and trade unions, and to facilitate negotiations to reach fair and equitable collective agreements.

(c)  Developing labour policies and regulations that promote decent work, social justice, and economic growth, while balancing the interests of employers and employees.

(d) Ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations, and imposing penalties or sanctions on employers who violate them.
